About our Spanish Immersion Classes

At our Costa Rica Spanish School, students are divided into small classes based on their level of Spanish fluency, from beginning to intermediate to advanced. Each hour of grammar instruction is followed by an hour of practice, with everything geared towards your fluency level.

About our Accommodations

The surf lodge at our Costa Rica Spanish School in beautiful Playa Hermosa offers shared accommodations in one of our 2- or 3-bedrooms or our 6-bed bungalow. Private rooms are available for an extra US$20 per day. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom and air-conditioning.

Spanish and Surf Programs

Want to combine surfing with Spanish classes? Take your choice from three different packages:

Beginner Surf & Spanish Package
Per person fees: US$850 for 1 week or US$1,550 for 2 weeks

Each week includes:

• 10 hours of Spanish classes
• 4 surf lessons (2 hours each)
• Surfboard use
• Surf guiding to Playa Hermosa beach
• Full accommodation in one of our shared Surf Lodge rooms (2- or 3-bed) or 6-bed bungalow
• Huge breakfast and dinner each day (with lunch available for an additional charge)
• Use of all facilities at our Surf Lodge
• WiLan

Surf & Extra Spanish Package
Per person fees: US$830 for 1 week

Each week includes:

• 20 hours of Spanish classes
• 2 surf lessons (2 hours each)
• Surf guiding to Playa Hermosa beach
• Full accommodation in one of our shared Surf Lodge rooms (2- or 3-bed) or 6-bed bungalow
• Huge breakfast and dinner each day (with lunch available for an additional charge)
• Use of all facilities at our Surf Lodge
• WiLan

Standard Surf & Spanish Package (for those who already know how to surf)
Per person fees: US$650 for 1 week or US$1,150 for 2 weeks

Each week includes:

• 10 hours of Spanish classes
• Surf guiding to Playa Hermosa beach
• Full accommodation in one of our shared Surf Lodge rooms (2- or 3-bed) or 6-bed bungalow
• Huge breakfast and dinner each day (with lunch available for an additional charge)

Just Surf Programs

For those who are not interested in taking Spanish classes, choose from two “surfing only” packages:

Beginner Surf Package
Per person fees: US$750 for 1 week or US$1,350 for 2 weeks

New Year prices (December 20, 2011 to January 10, 2012) per person: US$900 for 1 week or US$1,490 for 2 weeks

Each week includes

• 4 surf lessons (2 hours each)
• Surf guiding to Playa Hermosa beach
• Full accommodation in one of our shared Surf Lodge rooms (2- or 3-bed) or 6-bed bungalow
• Huge breakfast and dinner each day (with lunch available for an additional charge)
• Use of all facilities at our Surf Lodge
• WiLan surfboards for use

Standard Surf Package (for those who already know how to surf)
Per person fees: US$550 for 1 week or US$970 for 2 weeks

New Year prices (December 20, 2011 to January 10, 2012) per person: US$660 for 1 week or US$1,150 for 2 weeks

Notes
Private rooms are available for an extra US$20 per day.

Surfboards are available for rent for US$90 per week (and are included in our beginner surf packages). Save airline transport fees and choose one of our boards (Longboards, Malibus, mini-Malibus and Shortboards)!

Private surf lessons for beginning or advanced surfers can be arranged anytime. Fees are US$40 for each 2-hour lesson, including surfboard rental.
