Our school in beautiful Playa Jaco offers both surfing lessons and Costa Rica Spanish immersion classes.

Learn Spanish

Small group classes, private lessons, and combination packages (with both group classes and private lessons) are available at 6 levels, from beginning to advanced. Each course covers speaking, listening, reading and pronunciation.

• Small Group Classes (2 to 6 students): 15 hours of instruction per week, for a duration of 1 to 34 weeks. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am, with a 30-minute break. If there is only one participate for a given level, that person will receive 11-1/4 hours of private instruction per week instead of the 15 hours of group instruction.
• Private Lessons: 7-1/2 to 22-1/2 hours of instruction per week, either in general Spanish alone or in combination with technical terminology, for a duration of 1 to 8 weeks. Lessons are given Monday through Friday, usually from 8:00 am to 11:30 am with a 30-minute break. However, depending on teacher availability, some private lessons may be scheduled in the afternoons.
• Combination Courses: 15 hours of group instruction plus either five or ten 45-minute private lessons per week (to work on individual weaknesses or needs), for a duration of 1 to 34 weeks. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm, with two 30-minute breaks.

Take surfing lessons with qualified surf instructors who will get you started off right. Playa Jaco is a beach break that has constant swells year-round. A perfect place to learn to surf! All surfing courses include board rental.
