PLAYA TAMARINDO
Playa Tamarindo is located on Costa Rica's west coast, on the Nicoya Peninsula the
province of Guanacaste. Tamarindo has about 1,000 habitants. Some of the homes
of the residents are spread on the hills, overlooking the impressive ocean. The
students can find most of the restaurants, hotels, tour operators, surf schools,
supermarkets and other mayor businesses on the main roads.
The white sand and crystal clear water of this spectacular beach attract nature
lovers, surfers, giant-turtle watchers and sun-seekers all year round. For the active,
sports of all kinds are available: kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, sailing,
ATV 4, horseback riding, hiking, canopy and mountain-biking.

Learn Spanish & Surf Partnership School is situated in the heart of Playa Tamarindo,
Costa Rica. From our school, everything in the town (including the beach) are just a few
minutes walk away. Currently classes are held in a brand new custom built facility which is
perfectly suited for both small group and private language instruction. The top floor of the
building also is utilized for a student break area and a place to offer various cultural
activities. Around the classrooms and the residence, students can enjoy beautiful and well
maintained tropical gardens. We feel that our Spanish language school provides the
perfect atmosphere for those who want to study and learn Spanish in Playa Tamarindo.
Our school has a number of air conditioned student residences on site. This is a perfect
choice for those that prefer not to stay with one of our wonderful host families. Each
residence has Cable TV and High Speed Wireless. Even if you are not staying in the
residence you will still have access to the wireless internet connection (bring your laptop).
